Prior to migrating to Canada, Augustine Marah was awarded Commonwealth and French Scholarships to study abroad. He also holds diplomas and certificates from Milton Margai Teachers College in Sierra Leone, l’Universite du Benin in Lome, Togo (West Africa) and l’Universite de Dijon, in France. After completing his Masters degree at the U of A and a few years of teaching in the public school system, Mr. Marah obtained his Alberta Permanent Teachers Certificate. He is a passionate and enthusiastic educator who is also a translator and author of newspaper and magazine articles.
